Dear Sisters and Brothers:

This letter is a little late forthcoming, but since I and Larry were installed as your Worthy Matron and Worthy Patron, we have been busy with several things.

Our installation was on April 2, 2008.  Since then, we have visited each Chapter within our district at least once.  We have also been to Columbia Chapter #59, which is the Chapter that our Installing Chaplain is the Worthy Patron.

The other events we have participated in are:

- Assisted in two initiations with our sister Chapters.

- Made tote bags and selling them for a fund raiser.

- A Bake Sale in conjunction with the Hillcrest Masonic Lodge's Annual BBQ.

- Two "Third Friday" monthly sessions, which we would like to see more turn out.

- A Pancake Dinner in conjunction with our Brothers for the Plaisance family.

- Installed our remaining officers (Scott Plaisance, Associate Patron and Lucile Plaisance, Associate Conductress).

- The event that was very hard for us was the Funeral Service for Scott Plaisance on June 23, 2008.  I want to especially thank all that participated in the service and those who came to the service into support of Lucile and her family.

- We attended the School of Instruction at the Great Falls Chapter in District 5.  We were please to be able to witness Metta Holt's appointment as the Grand Representative to Oklahoma.

Here is the schedule for Hillcrest Chapter #263 through August:

- August 2, 2008, 12:00 pm:  OES School of Instruction.  I am requesting that all be there around 11:00 am, so that we can finish setting up the salads and getting the Chapter Room ready for the Grand Officers who are conducting the SOI.

- August 4, 2008, 7:30 pm:  Monthly meeting, we will open in long form and conduct our business, then have the Memorial service for Scott.  This is also the District Deputy's Official Visit.

- August 15, 2008, 7:30 pm: Third Friday meeting, subject matter will be up to the Proficiency Committee, Larry, Joe, and Jerry.

We also want to congratulate Joe Goode and Jerry Holt as being appointed our District Deputy and Deputy Grand Marshal.
